Spotify using enormous amount of memory

My Question or Issue

At the moment i have not downloaded any songs. When I check the memory usage in the Spotify app it tells me a reasonable amount of memory used. But if I check in the settings it says that Spotify is usung 43,62 GB in user data. I already tried reinstalling Spotify but it didn't work unfortunately. Is there any way to find out what kind of data this is an more importantly to delete it?

Hope you're doing great!

It could be a miscalculation by the phones OS.

If you have already done a clean reinstall, then no data remains on the phone.

Still you can navigate to your phones Settings app and go to Storage then clear cache system wide. That way it should force a recalculation of storage used.

Try signing out and back in 2-3 times and see if makes a difference.
