Spotify will only play 30-40 seconds of any track

My Question or Issue

I have never had an issue with my spotify premium before and have been experiencing this one for the last two months. Spotify will only play any track fro 40 or 30 seconds before skipping to the next. This includes any downloaded tracks as well. I have logged into my account on multiple devices and experience the same issue. 

I have completed all the usual troubleshooting steps. i.e logged out and back in , deleted app and restarted phone, reinstalled, tried on WiFi and other devices with the same result. 

It seem to happen periodically and sometimes works fine for a day or so and then reverts back. 

Any help would be much appreiated as spotify is unusable for me at the moment.

The issue seems to be nothing to do with the device. 

Get the same issue with my spotify account on an iphone, app on a macbook and on the web player...

Is anyone able to help?

You're right - this doesn't seem to be an issue with your device.

Could you let us know if there is any pattern to the song-skipping? If not, then does Spotify just skip to the next song in the queue, or does it change song completely?
