Spotify won't load offline songs

Spotify won't load offline songs

I bought a 16GB micro SD card just to download songs for my phone - which was getting too much load. During the tranfer from phone to SD, my card got corrupted and I had to format it.

Since then I'm trying everything to download the songs to my SD card, but it always get stuck at some point. I clean-reinstalled the app almost 10 times. I download the songs, everything works fine for some time and then suddnely it won't load any songs.

Please, I'm getting really frustrated...

Hi @Ahenci,

I recommend you try a fully clean reinstallation.

- Go to System Settings

- Go to "Apps"

- Find Spotify there

- On Spotify's page, first, tap "Force Close"

- Then tap "Clear cache" if it's not greyed out.

- Then tap "Unninstall" and remove the app.

- After uninnstalling, power off your device.

- If you can, remove the battery now. Power back on.

- Using a file manager on your phone or with your USB cable and your computer, go to Internal Storage > Android > Data and delete a folder called com.spotify.mobile.android.ui

- Reinstall Spotify from Google Play

If you do these steps correctly, you'll do a clean reinstallation of the app, with no piece of data to tell Spotify to save data to your internal storage.

Let me know if this helps!

If you really read the message, you'd notice that I did this almost 10 times.

I read your message, but you did not mention you did a fully clean reinstall, following all the steps I said.
