Stop playlists from reshuffling

Let's say I start listening to a playlist, like "this is Eric Clapton". I'll pause and resume a few times with the intent to listen to it in order.

After a while, playback will stop, while there are remaining songs. If I manually resume from the playlist I notice the songs are in a different order and playback resumes in a different spot. This drives me nuts.

Note that shuffle is disabled in the player, and I also turned off the autoplay setting on my account.

• The exact Spotify Versions you use.
• When did this start happening?
• Is this on all devices or only on specific one(s)?
• Screenshots or a video of the behaviour
