Stuck on 0 out of 1 downloaded - Google Pixel XL

Over the last couple of days the Spotify app on my phone has started to show a "Downloading" notification saying "0 out of 1 (0% complete)". 

All my songs have the green downloaded tick next to them, and when switching to offline mode the latest downloaded song plays automatically. The app is set to download new songs in high quality and to download over WiFi only. 

I've tried force stopping the app and reinstalling the app, neither of which allows me to dismiss or stop the notification. Is anyone else experiencing this, and how might I go about stopping it?

I am having the same issue on my oneplus5t, really frustrating. My only workaround right now is to set it in offline mode.
