Suddenly not recognizing SD card

My Question or Issue

 All of a sudden Spotify no longer sees my SD card. I had thousands of songs saved to it and everything was working earlier today. Tonight it started trying to save all the songs to my device's internal storage. The SD card no longer appears as an option in the app. All my other apps still see/use the SD card as normal. I tried a clean reinstall and rebooted but it's still not working.
