My Question or Issue
(According the relevant App Stores the apps are up-to-date)
On the phone app home screen I have a heading showing "Recently played" playlists and the "Made For You" heading showing my daily mixes 1 thru 6.
In the AAOS app those lists are not shown. How do I get the apps to synchronize these lists? I just want to listen to, say the Daily Mix 3 on my phone and when I get in the car be able to continue listening to that.
Hi there @mausy5043,
Thanks for reaching out. Do the lists not appear at all on Android Auto? Including on the Home Page if you have played them recently? Is it possible if you start the playback on mobile to transfer it to the car app via Connect? Also send us some screenshots of exactly what you see so we can investigate.
Let us know how it goes.
This is the Home screen on my phone and when I scroll down one page I can see the "Made For You" heading that holds the daily mixes.
These are the home screen in my car and the first second and second screen down. As you can see they do not at all match any of the lists on my phone.
I'm not sure what "Connect" function you mean. There is no such option in the car's app. On my phone there is a connect function but that only works on external speakers. The car is not recognised as a speaker. The car has it's own Spotify app.
Hey @mausy5043,
Thanks for getting back to us and for providing the screenshots.
If you want to see your "Made For You" playlists (eg. Daily mix 1, Daily Mix 3 etc.), we'd suggest that you save them in Your Library and then you should be able to access those from this tab.
Regarding the recently played playlists, could you please let us know if you can see them under the "Recent" tab (see attached screenshot for reference)?
Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
I've added the playlists to my Library. Will they keep updating or are they static now?
The Recent tab has been empty for a long time, but this week it started filling up. Seems to work now as expected.
Hey @mausy5043,
Thanks for the post.
We're glad to hear that the Recents lists have started updating and filling up.
Regarding the Made for You playlists - they'll keep updating 🙂
Cheers.
