My Question or Issue
Today I updated Spotify. BUT this version of playscreen is completely uncomfortable. I can't see the song title because of big album art. Like attached screenshot. SERIOUSLY??? At first I thought it was just an error. I hope this problem is solved in the next version. Thanks.
Hey @sihyun359,
Thanks for reaching out. Welcome to the community!
That doesn't look right. I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that didn't do the trick, please try performing a quick clean reinstallation of the app by following these steps.
Let me know how it goes — I'll be here in case you need any further help 🙂
Hey Noah.
I tried both ways, just like your answer. Sadly, it didn't work. But thanks for your help.
Hey @sihyun359,
Thanks for giving that a try and getting back to me!
Could you let me know the exact version of your Spotify app and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
Looking forward to your response 🙂
Hey, Noah
Wow. Thanks for helping me. I was almost giving up. I'm using the version 8.5.54.869 of Spotify. And I'm running my Spotify app in Android 9. Thanks again.
Hey @sihyun359,
No problem, I'm happy to help get to the bottom of this issue! Thanks for the additional info!
Next, could you please try clearing your cache by following the steps under the "Android" section of this support article?
If that doesn't do the trick, can you check if you have turned on any accessibility features on your phone? Also, would it be possible for you to try logging in on a different mobile device, to see if you experience the same behaviour?
Keep me posted 🙂
Hey @sihyun359,
Thanks for trying that!
A new version of the Spotify Android app was just released a few days ago. Would you mind trying to perform another clean reinstallation to see if that resolves the issue?
Keep me posted 🙂
