I can't get my head wrapped around the idea of having to log-in every time I change sim card. It's the worst thing when I'm on a plane, I land and I need to change the sim cards to the right one but there's no wi-fi nearby and can't use Mobile Data.
Why is it necessary and can't you give us an option to not having to be asked to log-in every time you change sim-cards / reset your device?
Are you logging in using Facebook?

No, I tend not to use Facebook login anywhere. Prefer dedicated accounts, just like Spotify. Is that a problem?
Shouldn't be, we tend to see more issues with Facebook logins to be honest!
Do you get this if you force the application into offline mode from the settings menu before swapping the sims?

I don't change the modes at all. Whatever mode I'm in, whatever the settings - if I replace the sim, or restart my phone I always get asked to log-in again, and I really mean it, I never had an occurence without re-loginng
I can confirm that restarting my android devices requires me to log into Spotify (I use a facebook login). No idea if this is by design or not but it doen't seem like a major issue to me as I don't restart my devices very often. I guess you could post something in the Ideas section and, if it gets enough support, I'm sure Spotify will look at it.

I can't confirm the sim-change login issue just yet (although I have a second sim at home, so will try it later when I get back). But I'm always rebooting my phone, flashing new ROMS, clearing cache etc and find that Spotify remembers my login details through all of these unless I wipe the sytem partition and re-install of course.
I'll try the sim swap later this evening and if I can replicate the issue I'll file a bug in the bug forum (unless someone beats me to it). It may be by design, but a staff member will be notified of the bug report and should be able to make comment to clear it up.
Edit:- Forgot to mention, I use standard Spotify Login and not Facebook.
It's not just when the sim card is changed. Even when I restart my phone I have to login again, or when my battery dies and I have to plug it in, the phone comes back again, switch it on - open Spotify and login screen again..
