Too easy to accidentally close Android 5 lock screen controls

Too easy to accidentally close Android 5 lock screen controls

I think there is a slight problem with the new lock screen controls on Android 5. The close/X button is too close to the skip button, meaning it is easy to accidentally press it. The only way to get Spotify back, of course, is then to unlock the phone.

Also, on a slightly unrelated note, I think it is annoying how the lock screen controls will only appear if you go away from the Spotify app before locking the phone. This is not a new problem, but I thought I might as well bring it up.

Actually I've just realised they seem to have fixed the latter problem. Oops!

Well, the problem of the controls not appearing is sporadically fixed. Sometimes you have to turn the screen off and on again (i.e. press the power button twice) to get the controls to appear.

I still think the position of the close button is a big problem. Why does it need a close button anyway? Surely it could be set up to close on swipe? Actually on second thoughts, that's probably worse. It's far too easy to accidentally swipe one of those little notification bars.

I can't really see any reason to need to close Spotify from the lock screen. You can just press pause. Why does it need a way to close it from the lock screen? It's too much of a hazard.
