My Question or Issue

The spotify app took up over 20 GB on my phone and my storage was full so I wanted to delete some playlists. After deleting the downloads in the app and clearing the cache my storage was still full. So I went further and went to the settings and deleted all files and cache from the app. I uninstalled spotify and rebooted my phone.  Nothing happened. Now it tells me I have those 20 GB in files but I can't find them in /data/ or anywhere else. No File Explorer on my phone or pc can find these files. Everything I know is that the storage is still allocated.

Hi @MrJazzbold,

Thank you for posting on the Community and welcome.

If your Spotify app is still taking up a big portion of your storage, there's probably some cache that needs to be cleared.

In this case, please run a clean reinstall of the app, as this one is more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

If this doesn't work, and if you're using an SD card, please remove it and see if that makes a difference.

Let us know how this goes.
