Unable to login to spotify on new samsung s22

I have tried everything 

Deleted and reinstalled spotify

Removed cache and tried again

 

I enter username and password and it stays on the logging in screen. I am able to login via browser on the same handset but not through app.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community!  It sounds like you've tried a couple of things already, but let's try some more troubleshooting.


First up, try using a different network connection, make sure to turn off any VPN (if you're using one). If you don't have another network available, you can ask a friend or a family member to start a hotspot for you and use it to test if you'll still experience the same. While you're testing, it could be a good idea to ask them to log in on your device to see if the app behaves the same way.
 

We can also recommend that you check the phone's battery settings and make sure that Spotify is set as an exception if you're using the battery optimization option.
 

In case the issue still persists, we'd appreciate it if you share the OS version and Spotify version of the device you're using, as well as a quick video so we can investigate further.
