Hey @rudolfh,
Thanks for getting back to us 🙂
If the issue persist only on your phone, it could be that it's a device-related issue. In case you are using an SD card, it's a good idea to remove it, reinstall Spotify and then try running the app without the SD.
If you have any battery optimization or power saving apps, you can deactivate them for Spotify.
If you still experience this issue, you can also send us screenshots of what you're seeing. We'll investigate this further.
Keep us posted! If you have questions, you know where to find us.
It seems to have resolved itself after a few minutes.
It is back. I have the same problem again. I hope this will be fixed soon.
Also, I can't turn the volume down, at the few moments I am able to play music on the app. What is going on?
Hey @rudolfh,
Thanks for reaching out to us 🙂
We'd suggest you restart the device and then to log out and log back in again. If that doesn't help, it's a good idea to give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall. That way you can make sure the app is up-to-date and the cache is not causing any issues.
If the issue persists, you can try on another device. That way we can check if it's a device-related issue.
Keep us in the loop! If you have questions, we are here for you.
Thanks for your help! It works perfectly again.

It has returned 😞
I think I will wait until the next Spotify update, that might fix things. Until then I will just listen on my desktop, since I am just at home all day long
