My Question or Issue

Hello,

I have the problem that when I open a game and have it in the foreground, the volume of the music being played is reduced and, if I hear it correctly, the quality of the music is also reduced. I have deactivated the sound in the game. I've noticed that this also happens with some other games, but not all. Does this mean that the game developers need to fix this somehow or can I fix the problem?

The volume normalization settings within Spotify itself only pertain to the volume differences between songs, so most likely there is either some setting related to the game itself or in your device's audio settings that define how sound sources are prioritized, so we recommend you look into those further.
