Volume problems on Samsung S3. On each track volume is quiet after a second.

Volume problems on Samsung S3. On each track volume is quiet after a second.

Hello lads,

I have a problem with spotify on my mobile device, Samsung S3. After I hit play or change the track  the volume is decent for a second and then it drops down for about 30%. On my laptop it is working all fine, just having this issue on my S3. Checked all the settings, EQ is still on and working. Rebooted etc. Didn't help. Also tested it with the known S4 issue, where after notifications EQ goes awol. Rebooted and straight after ran spotify with no data connection up. Nothing. Songs are downloaded to the phone.

Would love to hear back on how to fix it or what might be causing this.

Thank you in advance,

Tjom.

Have you attempted a reinstall?

Try turning off the equaliser which can cause the issue you're having. Not ideal but hopefully will fix this.

I first went on to update it, but then initially re-installed, that didn't help. I turned off the equaliser and that helped me. But thing is, I've had equaliser always ON, and only recently this has started to happen. So it wasnt always equaliser fault (or it wasnt in the previous versions of the android/spotify).

Many thanks!

Has anyone figured out a work around other than turning off the EQ?  I use the EQ for better sound quality and I don't want to give that up.  Is Spotify working on this?

Hi,
I'm also experiencing the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy S3, after updating to latest Android version (4.3) Spotify has started to do like this. It's very annoying because I use the EQ every time I listen to spotify... Please try to fix this problem ASAP as it destroys the listening experience.
