What happened to SORT by title or artist?

What happened to SORT by title or artist?

My Question or Issue

I used to be able to sort by title or artist. It's gone!  Now I hear the SAME handful of songs OVER AND OVER! Am I missing something?

I'm currently experiencing the exact same thing.

Hey folks!

 

Could you let us know which version of Spotify you're running? A screenshot which shows how things look on your end would also be greatly appreciated.

 

It's worth logging out and signing back in to your account twice in a row as this triggers an internal refresh of the app that may help here. If possible, try logging in on another mobile device (a friend's or a relative's would do) to see if you'd experience the same behavior there.

I am attaching 2 screenshots. There used to be a SORT option. It's no
longer there. And I am stuck listening to the same handful of songs.

I logged out twice and turned off Enhance.  Didn't work.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem like there's anything attached to your post. Could you try uploading the screenshots again so we can have a look?

 

Can you also confirm if only these two sorting options are gone (by title or by artist) or are you unable to sort within your playlist at all? You can access the Sort button by swiping down on a playlist. Note that this feature will be inaccessible as long as the the playlist is enhanced.

I restarted ALL my devices and SORT is back... STRANGE!!!!!!!!  Could it be that it had to be ALL????

Awesome @Marianne527! Glad you were able to sort this out!

 

Looking at the first screenshot you seem to have turned on the Enhance feature (the icon next to the download arrow) for this playlist, so the app adds recommended tracks to your playlist (hence the "+ Spotify" next to your name). While Enhance is active, the options to sort and filter within the playlist will be disabled.

 

You can turn off Enhance by tapping the icon to the download arrow again.

 

The Community is always here if something else comes up.
