When searching for a song the next song that plays does not take into consideration the search

I am using android. When I search for songs in a large playlist, for example, say led zeppelin only led zeppelin songs show up. If I pick one of these songs it plays correctly. However, once the next song plays it ignores the filter and plays the next song in the larger overall playlist without any filter. It used to be that the next song would play from the filtered list not the overall playlist. What this means is if I just wanted to listen to led zeppelin in my playlist I have to hunt around for it. Is there any way this can be changed?
