White Screen on my Galaxy S 4G

Ive searched through other threads but im not getting anywhere. 

I guess the first thing to address is that i dont have an SD Card currently. Also i cannot find the downloaded files anywhere in my phone. I use ES File Explorer and even with the search function it brings nothing up containing the word spotify.

When i start the app i simply get the white screen, nothing else. Basic troubleshooting steps have no worked.

If its that fact that i dont have an SD Card that would be rather annoying...but help me out!

Some people have had issues like this and having an SD card has solved stuff. Not 100% sure if that is the cause, but thats what I'v been seing around the forum from time to time.

I have an HTC Evo Shift and I had the exact same problem as you- white screen of death.

I just put in an SD card and the problem disappeared. At least you know how to resolve the problem now!

Yes, that is the case. If the device has a SD card slot, it seems to be needed to have a card in it. Many problems like this have been solved by just inserting a card. Some have a card inserted, but the problem is caused by a card that has been in another device and has some Spotify related settings or such, that cause the issues.

Hopefully setting the card in the device will solve the issue for you.
