Why are podcasts playing slowly on my Samsung app?

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

Could you try to log out > restart your phone > log back in to see if that makes any difference for you?

Make sure you don't have any other apps running in the background when opening Spotify and see if you still experience this issue.  

In case it persists, could you ask a friend or a family member to log in on your phone and test this out to see if the app behaves the same way?
