Why is the interface so small?

I dont like how the interface is so small, the image and track title used to be larger but now its so condensed. Is there any way to fix this?

That looks different indeed. It looks as if you have an accessibility settings enabled that makes it easier to operate the app for - for example - users that have reduced eyesight.

See if you can revert back to the normal app by reinstalling the app using these instructions.
