Why won't app recognize my speaker as a device?

My Bluetooth speaker has always worked just fine but now Spotify won't recognize it as a connectable device even though it shows up connected to my phones bluetooth

Thanks for posting in the Community.

In order for us to find the best possible solution, we'd need some more device related info. Could you share the brand/model and operating system of the casting device together with the Spotify app version installed on it? What are the brand and model of the playback device?

Have you tried performing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app as described here and a factory reset of the playback device? Also check for any pending firmware updates.
