Won't play through wired headphones

When I plug them in I can hear the crackle as they are being put in so my earphones are not the problem .when I start to play a song it shows its playing but I can't hear it. Please help

Hey, be sure that the earphones are connected both for multimedia and voice callings, sometimes they colud be connected only for voice callings, check it and let me know if you solved the problem 🙂

I'm not sure how to do/check the multimedia? I have an android

When you connect to Bluetooth, under the name of the bluetooth device you're connecting to, should be the subtitle " connected with multimedia and voice callings"

I'm using wired earphones not bluetBlue though?

Maybe the problem is the wire, try with another wire
