You do not have Spotify account connected to your Facebook account

I have a Premium Family account, and it is not linked to Facebook.

When I key in my credentials in the Android app, it will report the mentioned error - even though I am not using the Log in with Facebook button but keyed in my details manually.

If I key in my details in the web version of Spotify, I can log in and play music.

The family account has members which have linked Facebooks accounts and it works ok.

When I tried to link to my Facebook account which has same email id with this Spotify account, I get "Sorry there has been a temporary error, please try again later." in the web page. Please help? Thanks.

Sorry to hear you are having an issue with Spotify.

Many other users are having this issue, I will raise it up and see what can be done.

In the mean time, please could you try re-installing the application?

Hey, what happens if you log in with your spotify user name and not an email address?
