access to offline playlists

access to offline playlists

If I download playlists for offline access from one account to my Android device are they then available if I'm logged in on a different Spotify account on the same device?

No because music is stored in an encrypted cache which can't be accessed by the incorrect account. I'm not even sure why you would want to do this.

Thanks for that and to feed your curiosity, I have had an unlimited account for more than two years which I pay with the vouchers as I don't use a credit card. On recent purchase of a smartphone I wanted to convert my already paid for six month unlimited to three months premium, not possible without giving credit card details. So if I now use a friends account to download a playlist will it still be there when I get around to upgrading mine. 😄

I wouldn't hold your breath, but if you get in touch with the Spotify team directly using the online contact form and ask them very very nicely they might be able to do some magic and get it changed over for you.

Well I haven't been annoyed at Spotify for at least a couple of months so maybe I'll give that a try.

Hahaha 🙂
