after restarting phone, saved songs are gone

Hi,

I store my Spotify Data on the SD card. After restarting the phone spotify cant find the location on the sd card anymore and uses the local storage. Therfore all my downloaded songs are gone. I also tried to backup the "storage" folder and copy it back after selecting my sd card in spotify. Doesnt work. Spotify just doesnt seem to recognize its own directory again after restarting. Anyone familiar with this problem?

Exactly the same thing just happened to me. Ended up doing what I usually do, deleted everything, uninstalled, reinstalled and am now downloading everything again. Scared to turn my phone off now!

I'm on Android Nougat by the way.

Spotify told me the Solution:
Delete the offline devices at the Spotify account and do a clean reinstall.
It worked
