There are a lot of features available on the iOS version of Spotify that I feel would benefit android users as well. For example, iOS users can swipe to add a song to their queue, and they can modify the order of songs in their playlists. Will these features be added to the android version at some point?

There are always ideas for these features going. For example, the swiping to queue a song for Android got already suggested. Be sure to vote for this idea in order to support it. ^^
