My Question or Issue

Every time I use my local files and put in a song then sync it into my phone it doesn't show up and I add it to one of my Playlists all it shows is a grayed-out song with an ! that doesn't play. I can play it on the desktop app but not on mobile. I'm connected to the same WiFi, I bought the song, the file is .mp3, I've tried logging in and logging out on all devices, I have more than 1GB free on my phone.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out about this. 

 

We suggest keeping the app updated to its latest version to ensure optimal performance. It's well worth running a clean reinstall on both devices, as it's more thorough than a normal reinstall. In case that your PC's OS is Windows, make sure to download the app again from the Microsoft Store.

 

Also, take a look at the steps and recommendations you'll find in this Spotify Answer about Local Files. If you've already checked those steps and the issue still persists, could you let us know what exactly you've tried from there?
