audio only setting for podcasts not being abided by

Spotify android app on galaxy fold 4, spotify's podcast video settings are not abided by and continues to stream and download podcast videos. I have cleared cache and data and that has not fixed it. I believe this causes problems for android auto because even though the app is not in focus it believes it is and is showing the video through the blank screen which spotify then understands as your spotify account is being used on another device. I cannot listen to any podcast that has a video attached to it in android auto because of this issue. Other podcasts work perfectly fine.

After communicating this issue with Spotify support, they have told me that I cannot opt out of videos on podcasts (I already knew this) and that I need to background the app to deal with it. This, however, does nothing to fix my problem with android auto-detecting the phone playing this content and telling me that my account is being used elsewhere.
