Solved!! Scrobbles appear on last.fm during play then vanish

I noticed today that when I play a track on Android it appears on last.fm as "scrobbling now" but when the track is finished the scrobble vanishes on last.fm and isn't registered. This doesn't happen from the desktop client. I tried switching offline...

Playing random songs

So this only happens on my favorites playlist, and basically no matter what i do it plays random songs that i have never heard before. I have auto play off, but that didnt help.
