can not log on to spotify via the facebook app

I use a sony neo which a android device version 2.3.4 - latest update. The app has been runing on the phone before, I swtiched to a sony z1 and that was no problem either, I sold the phone because it was simply big and am willing to use the Sony Neo again. I use otherwise an Ipad at home and a computer for music streaming without any problem. 

Ok now to the problem. After installing the spotify app one chooses to log in with bloodz facebook, because that is the only option since I was dumb enough to register via facebook. one gets forward and taps the button to register and the browser of the phone opens. Since I am in Norway the device talks norwegian in between, but in essence it sazs: Website can not be found and suggest that the linke is either midterm not availiable or the site has been moved  ... 

Great, how does one solve this problem? It has been existing for about 4 months. I am thinking of stoppint to use spotify

Is the Facebook app on the device up to date in Google Play?

No, but my phone is a bit older and the newest facebook app makes the phone crash ... 

Origianlt I did not have any problems, I upgraded to a newer and better phone, but did not like that phone since it was as big as tank and sold it. 

And know the stupid facebook app together wit h spotifz is soo big that mz phone can not take it. 

Anz suggestions!?

You can get an account which isn't connected to facebook by getting in touch with the account team but I'm not sure this will solve the issues you're having with spotify.

Can you actually log into your facebook account when you use the facebook app? If so, try reinstalling spotify making sure to download from Google Play and see if it works any better.

I have kicked out a couple of apps and the facebookapp now runs, however 6 apps which I need/would like to use at work are off the phone. 

the good news is, I can use the spotify app now. 

so the problem is related to the facebook connection as my account is connected over that. anz idea how I can change that?
