can't find a particular user

Hi there,

I've been suffering from this many times.
I have a friend who gave me her account and I can't find her when I search for her account.

I've found a way to get to her profile .. through http account link.
I click on follow it gets clicked, but when I refresh the page it goes back to bring un-followed!

Please help me I can't share music with my best friends :'(

My device is Nexus 4 and hers is Samsung Galaxy.
