My Question or Issue

Hi, the app stopped recording new listening for over a week.

What I've tried and didn't work: reinstalling, logging in once again.

Hey there @intersys4,

Thanks for reaching out!

Just to confirm, are you able to see the Listening history on any other devices that you use Spotify on? Does it affect all history or are some tracks still being displayed?

Also, can you let us know what Spotify version you're currently running? A screenshot or video of how things look from your end when you open the history tab would also be helpful.

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Hi Maria,

thanks for replying. Now it's really weird. Until yesterday, the last history recorded was on the 12 of December (in my mobile phone). Now, all history was recovered somehow, and shows all missing history until the current moment.

It looks like a sync issue. I have a second device on which spotify is installed, which is my galaxy smart watch 5 pro.

The spotify version I'm using on my phone is 8.8.96.364

Thanks for the info @intersys4!

We're happy to hear you're able to see your history 🙂

It's possible that it was a temporary issue, so what you can do in case it happens again is to log out > log in twice in a row. It does sound a bit strange, but helps re-sync your Spotify account and the device you're using.

We're here if you need help with anything else. Cheers!
