music keeps stopping

My mother has Android - Samsung S7 (premium) 

When she´s listening on her phone, there will be split-seconds of silence throughout songs. When it starts again the music picks up where it left off, not where it would be had the song continued playing. This happens whether she uses data, wifi, or on downloaded albums.We have tried everything, from "delete cache", "logging out/in", restarte phone.....now I´m thinking smashing the phone may help? Anyone out there who knows what to do? 

I haven´t got these issues on my account (using apple) 

 

She refuses to create an account on Twitter just to get in contact with support.

Welcome to the Spotify Community.

 

In this case, please follow these steps:

 

  1. Log in to your account page on our website and click Offline devices in the menu on the left.
  2. Click REMOVE ALL DEVICES.
  3. Reinstall the app with the steps here.
  4. Save your offline tracks again.

If that doesn't work, please remove the SD card, if there's one, reinstall the app, then reinsert the SD card again to see if it makes any difference.
