also where is the ... 3 dot icon for 'rename', 'delete', etc.??
How do I retrieve playlists that have disappeared ?? Some have disappeared from the Samsung tablet, and others have disappeared from my Asus laptop.

You can check out how to sort and filter your playlists in this article. When it comes to making changes to a playlist, you should be able to see the three dots when you open a playlist. If you don't, it'd be great if you can send us a screenshot of how it looks like on your end.

If you have deleted playlists, which you want to retrieve, you can follow the steps in this article. The playlists in Your Library on both your devices should be the same, so can you make sure you're logged in the same account on both devices? It's also worth following the steps here just to make sure your account is secure, especially the sign out everywhere option.
