play list stops when screen saver turns on

Never had this issue before with Spotify just started couple weeks ago. When I listen to a play list and my screen saver turns on my music will stop at end of the song. I have to open my screen again for next song to start.

Here is the kicker. If I am playing a album it won't stop.

No idea what the difference is.

Hi. Could you verify the option - "Enable Hardware Acceleration" in Edit > Preferences.  Test if it works when on/off.

On android phone. Not seeing this option.

I thought you were using a desktop since you were talking about a screensaver......but you are using a screensaver on your mobile?....anyway a screensaver could be an app or something that could produce sound, therefore that app could stop spotify from playing music as when you play a youtube video while using spotify.

Running a Samsung Note 2. When i say screen saver i mean screen goes dark due to inactivity.

Albums music Continues to end. Play list music gets to end of song and stops. I have to turn screen back on and the next song will start automatically. This just started happening couple weeks ago previously everything worked good.

install an earlier version of the program and cancels automatic updates delas applications only solution , the current versions are flawed

Found better solution. By selecting the songs to fade on each other when they end stopped the is issue.
I guess it forces other song to load because they both have to play at the same time at end of the song.
