My Question or Issue

Hello. About a month and a half ago, we moved from Germany to Israel. Since then, I have been unable to connect to the Spotify app on my phone. I can connect to it on my computer, and even to the browser on my phone, but I can't access the app. It shows me an error message saying "Something went wrong" and to try again. This has been going on for about a month and a half. I have spoken to technical support, but they have not been able to solve the issue. I have updated my location on my account. What can I do?

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

 

Sorry to hear that you're having this issue with your mobile app. 

 

It's possible that there is some corrupted app cache causing these issues. Can you perform a full clean reinstall of the app, following this guide? This will ensure that all app files are removed, before reinstalling the app. Next, restart your phone.

 

After that go into the Spotify app settings on your phone and make sure that the data saver is switched off and that there are no battery optimization functions enabled.
