"Improve quality of existing downloads" removes access to existing downloads immediately

My Question or Issue  "Improve quality of existing downloads" removes access to existing downloads immediately, even if there is no WiFi connection.  My assumption was that it would only remove access to existing downloads once the re-download began. Ideally at a song-by-song level.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

The described feature works as described indeed. The quality of the downloads gets improved instantly for all the downloads if there is a network connection available. If there is none - the old downloads get decoupled.

If this is not the way you think users imagine the usage of this feature, you can submit a feature request through the process outlined here. Just make sure to read through the guidelines first so we can make the submission public.
