"Now Playing" bar not showing

Often, but not always, the bottom bar is not shown, making it impossible to access the play queue and controls. Very annoying and fairly serious bug.

I get this occasionally. I find that starting the song again by selecting it in the playlist gets the bar to pop up

The same thing used to happen to me often.

I made a clean reinstall 10 minutes ago and the problem has not returned so far.

As a workaround I could exit Spotify and it would be running in the background and still be playing the song.

I then opened Spotify again, and then the bar would now be shown.

The last occation though, I waited to exit Spotify, and the bar appeared after about 30 seconds after I've started the track.

I've got a Samsung Galaxy S II with Android 4.0.4

This just became much worse. Especially very annoying when you accidentally start a song in public,. Without the now playing bar there is no way to stop it except forcing the volume down. Why doesn't the now playing bar always stay visible?

3 weeks ago I posted here that I solved the issue by doing a 'clean reainstall'.

The issue has now returned.
