My Question or Issue

Recently every time I open the Spotify-App it says "/Someone/ is taking part on /some device/" ("Nadja is taking part on BeatPill+" --> Join Session?) (see attachement).

I don't know who Nadja is and I don't care to join any session, therefore I'd like to know how to remove this feature.

Could it be related to public WLAN?

Thanks!

Hey @EL_Dude,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

What you're seeing is an invitation to a Group session on speaker and it appears anytime you're connected to the same network as another user using a Connect-enabled device.

It's currently not possible to disable this feature, however we greatly appreciate your feedback and we'll make sure to forward it to the team in charge of this.

Let us know if there's anything else.
