Hey @maximgeerts,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

Just to make sure we're on the same page - when you used your wife's smartphone, was your account or hers logged in? It would be good if you could test whether or not her account is able to use Connect as intended, that way we can check if the issue is device-related. Also, are you able to use Connect with other devices, let's say controlling the app on your pc from your smartphone?

Keep in mind that the list of devices that support Connect can vary over time. You can find all currently supported models here. If your device can't be found there, we recommend reaching out to the manufacturer for more info.

Keep us posted.

Hello, thank you for you're response.

I tried with mine premium Spotify account on her Huawei. Same issue.
I created a free Spotify account , I cannot see the speakers , probably
because Spotify connect only works for premium I think.

I tried installing Spotify on my tablet Samsung Tab A.
I logged in with my premium account, connected to the speaker group , after
on song , player keeps playing but no sound.😟

So same problem on tablet with my account.
Hope you can help me.
Kind regards Maxim.

Hey @maximgeerts,

Thanks for keeping in touch.

The Connect feature is available for both free and Premium users. Can you try with the free account in another device to see if there's any difference?

We'd also like to know how it works if you connect your phone to your speakers through Bluetooth - does the issue persist?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Hello i changed 1 of the 3 speakers Onkyo NCP-302 speakers to usb and
connected with my phone (Oppo reno 4 5G) and it plays successfully and
continues to the next song automatically.

With another phone (Huawei p40 Lite ) with a free account I am unable to
use Spotify connect,
( see attached photo) it says only for premium members.

If i connect with this phone to this speaker with Google Casts, it works ok
and it continues to play the next song.
Also with my Premium account to 1 speaker with Google Cast it continue to
play correctly after the next song.

Connecting with my premium Spotify account to only one speaker with
Spotify connect , instead of a group the speaker stops playing after the
next song.while spotify continues to play without sound.

Hope you can find a solution,

Kind regards maxim

Hey again @maximgeerts

Thanks for your reply.

We're unable to see the attachment, could you try again?

It would also be helpful to have a video where we can take a better look at what you're seeing from your end when using Connect. You can send a link to it or attach it using the Insert Video option in the post editor.

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Hello,

Here is a video showing me connecting to the Onkyo ncp-302 speaker group
and playing music with Spotify connect and it's not continuing after the
next song.
Can you please resolve this issue.

Hey @maximgeerts,

Thanks for the info 🙂

Could you check if the same thing happens when you try with another media player for example Youtube?

In case nothing changes, it's a good idea to reach out to Onkyo. The folks there can investigate this further and give you more information about it.

We'll be right here if you have any questions.

Hello no only with Spotify connect this happens.
I have this problem for two weeks, before it worked fine.
I has nothing to do with Onkyo our YouTube.
Please fix this problem.

Hi @maximgeerts

Thanks for getting back in touch.

Could you let us know if this happens while you're trying to play music on only one speaker as well?

Additionally, we recommend checking if the firmware of your speakers is up-to-date.

Keep us posted.

Hello,

Yes if I connect to 1 speaker the sound stops after the first song but the
player continues.
With Google cast it keeps playing with sound.

Hi there @maximgeerts

Thanks for your reply.

Just to confirm, did you check if there's any pending updates for your speaker's software?

Additionally, we suggest that you make sure the operating systems of your PC and phone are up-to-date as well.

We'll be waiting for your reply.

I also have a call with Onkyo, but I only have this problem with Spotify
Connect.

All devices are up to date.
Also the Onkyo speakers and phone's.

Can you please provide a solution ?
