My Question or Issue

since 3 weeks ago, my phone has stopped syncing with my main playlist.

Resetting or uninstalling does not fix the issue.

Other playlists can sync and are being updated on both devices.

I can add songs on my phone to the playlist that has the issue, but they won't show up on my desktop and vice versa.

Can someone explain why this is happening?

 

Edit: my friend using his account also sees the old playlist on his phone

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

 

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info. We'd like to check: what did you mean when you mentioned your main playlist is not syncing? Are you referring to a playlist you use on a daily basis?


On another note, since you mentioned this is happening on both your computer and your mobile device, would you mind sharing with us the exact Spotify version you're running on them?


Just to confirm, are you using Connect and you can't see both devices syncing, or is this just happening when you add a song to the mentioned playlist and you can see the changes on your phone but not on the desktop app? Is this also happening on the web player? Or does it happen only on the desktop app? If you're not sure, it'd be awesome if you could check.

 

Meanwhile, we'd recommend to make sure both your device are up-to-date.

I think it fixed itself after 3 weeks? The playlist updated on my phone all of a sudden, I think it might be because I still had the good UI (😢) on my desktop.
