Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community.

Have you tried performing a clean reinstall of the app? This is often an overlooked step, but it can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

If this doesn't do the trick, let us know the exact Spotify version currently running on your phone. It'd also be helpful if you could send a screen recording or a video where we can take a better look at what's going on. You can attach it here using the post editor or upload it to YouTube/Google Drive and add the link to your response.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

Hey @FadeJr,

Thank you for keeping in contact and for the info shared.

Since this could be also caused by a network restriction, could you try using a different Wi-Fi network to see if it makes any difference? We'd also recommend turning off any VPN that could change your current location as it may affect the proper behavior of the app as well.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.

Lastly and if possible, since we couldn't replicate the issue on our end, it would be great if you could record a short video where we can take a better look. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to watch it).

We'll be on the lookout.

Somehow the screen recording is showing no audio issues, so it must be something else interfering with audio output, probably a device issue. Was having this issue on my desktop a while ago, but haven't faced that again on that device so I have mixed feelings towards this issue.

You can see me pause-play to correct the issue though.

Hey @FadeJr,

Thank you for your message.

it's possible that something else could be affecting the audio output of your device just as you mentioned since we can see the pause/play and the +/- volume actions on your end to correct the sound, even if it's working well on the screen recording.

So, to check if this could be what is happening, would you mind checking on a different mobile device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.

If it doesn't happen on another phone, it's possible that something on your device settings or another installed app could be affecting the proper behavior of Spotify.

Let us know how it goes.
