spotify is downloaded but does not show on my phone

Second issue I've had with Spotify in the last hour. 

Google Play or whatever their app store is tells me that I have Spotify downloaded but I cannot find the app anywhere on my phone. I can't re-download but the app is nowhere to be found. Please help.

Have you tried restarting the phone?

Yes, phone has been restarted. Still cannot find Spotify. Searched through home screen apps as well as app manager. 

Using a Samsung Galaxy S3.

try to start playing a song and then swipe down from the top of the page. That should show Spotify as a playback option if it's available.

Can you see Spotify in Android Settings > App Management?

Use the Play app on your mobile. You will be able to open or delete the app from there or download it, if it isn't already installed.
