My Question or Issue
Video wont play of I'm using bluetooth headphones. If I turn off the head phones it plays immediately.

This problem is occurring for I as well. It took me about an hour of irritation and troubleshooting before I found this exact post and turned bluetooth off.
Joe Rogan Podcast shows black screen with bluetooth on and connected to earbuds. Audio plays normally. As soon as I toggle bluetooth off, the video instantly appears and plays. Turn bluetooth back on and it instantly disappears.
I can't answer the question regarding any other podcasts, because I am not aware of any other podcasts on Spotify that use video.
I went through all your basic troubleshooting steps prior and bluetooth is the culprit.

Can you tell us if you encounter issues streaming the JRE while connected to other Bluetooth devices like a speaker?
Also, do you get the same results if you pair up your PC and stream via the app or the Web player to your headphones?

Can you let us know if this is happening on all your devices? For example if you try streaming a podcast from your computer and playing it via Bluetooth to headphones or a speaker, do you get the same result?
Also, is this happening for every podcast or just a specific one?
Sharing your device models, OS version and Spotify version would also be helpful.

This is a known issue that Spotify refuses to acknowledge. They have put it in purposely to refuse video while driving, but the only way they knew how was to apply it to all bluetooth devices. The only fix is to cancel your Spotify subscription and to state the reason why you are canceling. They won't fix it until the profit motive is there.
Still no fix? This is ridiculous. Spotify doesn't listen to their customers. Cancelling this joke of an app. Good riddance
I have the exact same issue, multiple versions, multiple phones, multiple headphones. Only on mobile. Happens with the video podcasts I view such as distractible and just roll with it. Super annoying
