My Question or Issue

Ok so I just restarted my phone cuz it was being stupid and now the spotify is not letting me to login...

It's keep saying you're offline check your connection and try again, however, my wifi connect is perfectly fine. I can't switch offline mode since I can't even login to the main menu. It is not a password/account prob since I'm allowed to login through web browser.

I did the clean uninstall and reinstall but it's still not working. What should I do?

Hi @kurohase,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

If you've been abroad for more than 14 days, I would suggest that you follow these steps to update your country setting, since the error message could be caused by this.

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, then I would recommend that you restart your device and try logging in again. And if that doesn't help, I’d suggest trying to log in using another network.

Let me know how it goes, as well as if you have any other questions.

Have a good day!

Hi there, I'm having the same error message: You're offline. Check your connection and try again.

Samsung Galaxy S9+

On wifi, all other apps function as expected

OS: G965USQU9FVB2

Have tried a clean install, clearing cache, restart, etc. Can't get past the login page. Spotify works on my iPhone, desktop, Alexa, etc.

Can you help?

Hey @DieselD,

Thanks for your reply and for the info shared.

In this case, just to confirm, did you follow the steps in this article to perform a clean (more thorough) reinstall? By doing that the app can be up-to-date and you can make sure the cache is not leading to this inconvenience. If you haven't yet, give it a try and let us know how it goes.

On another note, if that doesn't do the trick, we'd like to check: is this happening over WiFi? 3G/4G? Both? Do you notice any difference if you switch the internet connection you're using?

Lastly, did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update? If yes, please send us the details. Also, it'd be awesome if you could send us the exact Spotify version you have available. You can check it in the App store of your device.

Keep us in the loop!
