Car Thing does not update the song I am on, making it useless.

My Question or Issue

I use my Spotify car thing for my car and my PC setup. There are times when I connect to the car thing, play a few songs then maybe 2-3 songs in, it would display the incorrect song (but would be playing the correct song according to the queue list). The only workaround is to either press play on the car thing, which updates the song I am on but then does the same thing after the song finishes (where it goes back to the 1-2 songs I played previously) I primarily bought this for the aesthetic of seeing the song I'm listening to while in the car or in my PC setup. Need a fix please and thank you.

Apologies for the delayed response, we just came across this thread. Could you let us know if you’re still having troubles with this?

In case you do, we'd suggest restarting your Car Thing with the steps here. 

After that you can repair it with Bluetooth to see if you'll experience the same behavior.
