CarThing shipping to UK - Am I being scammed?!?!?

Hi, 

I just bought a CarThing, I'm in the UK so I've had to use a secondary shipping service to ship it to me. They are telling me the box weighs 6.0 lb & is 8"x10x10". This doesn't seem accurate based on the contents and the pics I've seen. They want $65 to ship it to me in the UK, Ebay sellers are quoting about $25! Can anyone confirm rough size\weight for me so that I have something to back up my claim that the shipper is over charging me? Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am in the USA and when Spotify shipped the package to me it weighed 0.9050 LBS on the tracking page so that would be around 1 pound. Unless they are using more packing material so the package weighs more, that seems suspicious.

I would say anything over 3 pounds doesn't seem right.

Hi, thanks for asking this question. Just bought myself one last week also from the UK. Using Stackry for sending it over from the States. Good to have some info about what I should expect to pay.
