Does anybody see this pointless?

Okay I was part of the free trial before this was released, this was about 3 years ago I believe. Anyway I loved it cause my music didn't stop playing even if I had a call coming in. Now I was excited that they officially released it and now it's like if I have my phone connected to Bluetooth to listen to music. Which makes no sense cause I can just use my phone alone to do that. Or am I connecting it wrong?

In order to make the Car Thing work, it's necessary to connect it via Bluetooth (to your phone). However, we'll pass your feedback to the team in charge of it.
