Legitimate refund ?

Hello,

I share a family plan with 4 other individuals. However, I bought Car Thing thinking it would be great for my van. It was! Now that it’s disconnected, I’m trying to get my refund. I chatted with many service agents and they said I should receive it soon. BUT I got a email asking for my account and routing numbers in order to get my refund? This seems SUPER fishy and when I emailed back they “assured” me they delete it. I even called my bank to see if anyone else gets a refund this way and they said NO! Refunds should not happen this way! What should I do now?

We can confirm that in regards to refunds, we do request the info that you've listed. Keep in mind however, that Spotify will never ask for personal information over email and more info you can read in this article.
