This looks like an awesome device! My car doesn't show information on the music playing over bluetooth and this looks like a very elegant solution! Hoping to get my hands on a unit to test 🙂

Thank you for your interest. As of right now Spotify's Car Thing device is only available in the USA. There is currently no information about future availability in other countries.

The Car Thing website carthing.spotify.com and newsroom.spotify.com are the best places to check for future news about Car Thing.

I got my Car Thing all setup and unfortunately it does not support playlist folders at this time. It only shows individual playlists. It will currently show playlists that are in folders but it won't show the folders.

I now want to use my student email to use Spotify and I am a new member. Spotify is very nice and offered me a free service for 3 months. I would like to ask, if I am free service, can there be a chance to get carthings?

At the moment it's not possible to get the Car thing as a free user.

Thanks for your reply. It did help to solve my problem.

I am having some difficulty moving my old account to my current account. I like the student premium. To save my time, I just stopped the free trail and now I have a paid student account. Do I meet the qualification of the application?

By the way. I want say the car thing is really designed product! Thanks for your team's work!
